Why would you want to trade or team up with someone else since, in the rare instance that you're missing another "B" piece, all you have to do is keep playing to get the rest of the common pieces? One would never trade a key piece.
The only situation where you might need to team up with someone is if you start playing toward the end of the game, get a key piece, and the game ends before you can get the other common pieces. Ok, I really don't understand how this works It says nothing about this in the "official rules".
