Service packs will not be released. If you do not have one or the other of those service packs installed, install SP1, available here, before trying to install Windows XP SP3. Windows XP is still a great operating system to work on.

I have now performed another clean install of SP2 and installed SP3 and tried to visit Windows Update but it didn't work. I scanned again with AV software updated and nothing was found.

Please note that for most of you, the easiest way to install the latest Windows service pack or update is to run Windows Update. Service packs will not be released.
