System freezes file print




















I have tried everything and everything is updated. The only thing that work was creating a new user and running the software there. How can I fix my current user?

When the update is complete, QuickBooks for Mac automatically opens. Once ready, follow these steps to uninstall: Close QuickBooks. Go to the Finder menu. Select Go Applications. Drag the QuickBooks icon to the Trash. Reinstall the latest version. After that, reinstall the latest version. Select your QuickBooks Desktop version. Click Download to download the installer file to your computer.

Thanks for your help! That opens a window where you can see all print drivers installed. Blow away the ones you don't need and the one that freezes on you. Then install a fresh driver and see how that goes. Try setting the default to something local like a PDF printer and see if it still freezes. It seemed like it worked after I added the printer back to the computer, cause it moved much faster, but I tried to print a test page and it started freezing again.

I did set it to print directly to the printer and it seems to be working fine for now. He will be back on Monday, so if anything else goes wrong, I will know what to try next your second suggestion.
