When I am pretty confident you can find a similar quality tool for half the price or less, just without the Snap-On brand.
Therefore, while many of the hand tools are still made in the USA by Snap-On they have moved a lot of their production overseas. Also, customers have noticed a reduction in their quality, especially in the tools made in China or outside the USA.
With Snap-On tools you are paying a lot for their brand name, gone are the days where the tool was guaranteed to be made in the USA. Furthermore, I have worked with both Snap-On tools and every other brand and a lot of times I have found cheaper brands that feel the same if not better than Snap-On.
Meaning you can buy sets for the same price as the equivalent Snap-On set , and have replacements forever. Founded in , Generac was the first company to engineer affordable home standby generators. When the kiln needed repairs after an emergency shutdown, he worked around the clock to get it up and running. Just another example of how makersandfixers are always there to save the day! He began as a pipeline welder, and has worked his way up to being a Motor Man and Direction Driller. If anything goes wrong on the oil rig, Eddie is the one who fixes it.
